Afsana Ahmed is the CEO of UK Bright Education and a College Lecturer.
She was an examiner for Pearson Edexel, OCR and AQA for A level and GCSE Biology. Currently trained as a Pearson Edexel standard verifier for BTEC Diploma in Applied Sciences.
In recognition of her contribution to education in Leicester, she was awarded the Community Award by the UK TV Channel S. She was also the first and youngest Bengali Presenter for BBC Asian Network. During the Bangladeshi floods during 1989, she secured an Interview with the President of Bangladesh at the time and asked about how Bangladesh was coping with the natural disaster.
She is passionate about education and has been involved in teaching and student recruitment for UK universities since 2003. She has recruited globally including Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand, Qatar, UAE, Colombia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Nigeria, Albania and many other countries.
